OK, it’s time for my kids to get busy in the kitchen! It is the perfect time as we have more time to spend at home during the summer holiday. So, to begin with, we started off with kid’s favorite dish, the Japanese curry. They have helped me in the kitchen before but the idea now is for them to independently cook by themselves. One of my childhood memories.. campfire / fireplace with marshmallow on a stick. There was nothing like the softly melting marshmallow outer fresh with slightly burnt skin around it. It has been the easiest growing and harvesting experience after planting the seeds directly into the prepared soil later in April in 2017. It was my first feet experience in the kitchen! I always wanted to try it but next had the guts to do it. Here I am, I did it and it was an interesting journey to make it how I wanted them to be. Kids loved it as expected and with all the Chinese herbs and Japanese ingredients that I added in, I think I can call it a success.

Just wanted to make a quick note… my friend took me to a great spanish tapas restaurant in London and I didn’t want to forget it because the food was delicious!!! and the atmosphere was special. It was like having spanish dinner at a friends house. The service was good and I can recommend the restaurant to anyone when or who wants a bit of Spanish spice in your life!
