Carrot Soup
Kids love carrot soup. So I put secret ingredients so the goodness can be taken all together.
Ingredients
Carrot Soup (with vegetables)
(serves 5)
- 5 medium carrots
- 1 small Onion
- 1 garlic Clove
- 1 small Tomato
- Chicken Stock (approximately 200ml) Optional - Other vegetables
- 1/2 Broccoli Stem
- 1 small boiled Beetroot
how to
- Brown onion and add garlic before adding rest of the ingredients
- Boil them until everything is cooked and soft. Usually takes 20 minutes depending on what vegetables added.
- Once cooked and cooled, so it's not boiling hot, blend using blender to smooth consistency.
- Put the pot back in the cooker, heat up again and season with salt and herbs of your choice.
- Serve and enjoy while it's warm!
