marshmallow on fire

One of my childhood memories.. campfire / fireplace with marshmallow on a stick. There was nothing like the softly melting marshmallow outer fresh with slightly burnt skin around it. The bigger the better as you can enjoy the whole thing as long as it melts away into your mouth and eventually disappears and can’t help to have an another one on the stick.

One of our friends’ kids experienced that in her camp and demonstrated it on a kitchen hob! How fantastic! It brought me back all the good memories back in the US and Canada, and wished one day, I can show how it’s really done with hot chocolate on the side..
