Cooking with Kids
The Easter holiday is FINALLY over. It was one of the longest holiday we’ve experienced.. simply because we didn’t plan “a holiday away” from UK? My son says, it was just like a long weekend… I kind of agree.. anyway, it was nice. We managed to have lots of activities and fun with people who we cannot usually spend enough time with unless during such a relaxing school holiday.
Just a quick update that my son has started showing the interest towards cooking especially baking. I think it’s simply because he LOVES to eat and sometimes he can’t wait for me to start making his favorites. Also he learnt how to make salsa sauce and other dipping sauces with breadstick at school in food technology lesson and that taught him how simple and enjoyable cooking is. Big thumbs up for that.
By the way, a very good tip from my son on my recipes online. He has suggested to add “what cooking tools you need to use” in those recipes. Good idea for new chefs in the kitchen! I will update my recipes accordingly. He also complained there are not enough recipes! OK, I’ll work on that too, son.
