Celery Soup with Seaweed

A surprisingly easy and quick soup to make but on a healthy side. Celery wasn't my favorite veggie in my youth but it is now in my top 10. By boiling for a long time with a stock of your choice, they will be tender and the sweet taste will burst out into your soup. It is worth trying, trust me!

Ingredients (serves 4)

1 large stalk of celery
2 spoonful of dried seaweed
1 egg beaten
A pinch of salt
A drop of chili sauce
500ml of chicken or vegetable stock

how to

  1. Slice the celery thinly.
  2. Put the celery in a pan and boil them in the stock for at least 10 minutes or until they are very very soft.
  3. Add dried seaweed and turn up the heat.
  4. Add beaten egg while it's boiling and stir so the eggs gets separated.
  5. Add a bit of salt to taste.
